Release Planning & Operations
A Release Date Is Not A Release Plan
OTA turns a finished or nearly finished record into a coordinated timeline, rights and metadata map, asset checklist, distribution handoff, content schedule, and launch process.
From Master To Market
Control The Details Before They Control The Release
The record, artwork, credits, lyrics, ownership, codes, distributor delivery, campaign assets, radio needs, DSP timing, and artist responsibilities must agree with each other before launch week.
Release Readiness Review
Starting At $149
Focus-track and market-fit review; master, metadata, credits, artwork, rights, DSP, and asset checklist; written findings; 30-minute call.
3–5 business days. Fee may be credited to a larger campaign booked within 30 days.
Release Readiness Plan
Starting At $699
Release brief, master and artwork audit, metadata and credits checklist, distributor handoff, six-to-eight-week timeline, content schedule, responsibilities, and launch/post-launch checklists.
7–10 business days. One plan revision.
Managed Release Campaign
Custom Quote
Coordinated release operations, creative, promotion, radio/DSP, content, partner activity, reporting, and assigned ownership across a defined campaign window.
Scope depends on assets, markets, channels, timeline, and team burden.
The Working Process
Defined Inputs. Defined Outputs.
Timelines begin after complete, usable assets and required access are received. Delays, new concepts, changed dates, missing rights information, or replacement assets can change the quote and schedule.
Release-ready truth.
Final or near-final music, artwork status, accurate credits, release window, rights authority, budget, distributor status, team contacts, and fast approvals.
Specialist work is separately scoped.
Legal clearance, mastering, distribution fees, radio promotion, DSP pitching, paid advertising, content production, chart services, and guaranteed performance are not included unless written into the proposal.
Six to eight weeks is the comfortable lane.
Rush timelines reduce options. A date change after assets or outreach are approved may require a revised campaign plan and quote.
The release remains the artist’s.
OTA coordinates the process. The artist retains masters, publishing, copyrights, distributor relationship, and accounts.
Artist Ownership
Artists retain ownership of their masters, publishing, copyrights, and underlying rights. Standard service work does not transfer ownership to OTA Music Group.
Starting Prices
“Starting At” reflects the smallest standard scope using complete, usable client-supplied assets. Final scope and price are confirmed after intake.
No Fairy Tales
Airplay, streams, playlists, press, bookings, attendance, sales, follower growth, chart positions, and partnership acceptance are not guaranteed.
Choose The Exact Path
Treat The Release Like A Project
Start at the correct level: diagnose readiness, build the plan, or scope a managed campaign.
Release Readiness Review
Identify missing assets, timing risks, and decision gaps.
Release Readiness Plan
Build the working timeline, asset map, and launch controls.
Managed Release Campaign
Coordinate approved execution around a release.
Radio + DSP Launch Kit
Build the promotion package after the record is ready.
Release Readiness Checklist
Run the preflight before you set the date.
Project Policies
Review timing, scope, and client-responsibility rules.
Give The Record A Real Release
If the date is close, tell us now. If the assets are incomplete, tell us that too. Honest inputs make a stronger release than last-minute theater.
