OTA Development Relationship
Build The Career Systems Together
A coordinated working relationship for qualified artists whose positioning, releases, content, promotion, live strategy, and professional habits need to grow as one system.
Shared Work
Clear Responsibilities Keep Partnerships From Becoming Wish Lists
Development is not a bundle of discounted services. It is a defined operating relationship with priorities, responsibilities, review points, communication rules, and measurable work on both sides.
Included In The Standard Scope
- Qualification and gap assessment
- Development roadmap
- Release and asset sequencing
- Team responsibility map
- Scheduled operating reviews
- Access to approved OTA service lanes
What You Supply
- Consistent communication
- Accurate rights and financial reality
- On-time asset and approval delivery
- Professional participation
- Work between OTA milestones
Best Fit
- Artists with credible long-term potential
- Teams willing to work between releases
- Artists who need coordinated systems, not one rescue job
What It Fixes
- Disconnected vendors and campaigns
- No owner for release preparation
- Strategy that dies between meetings
The Useful Outcome
A shared operating plan with assigned owners, campaign sequencing, artist responsibilities, OTA responsibilities, and regular decision points.
Scope At A Glance
Price, Timing, And Decision Rules
The standard scope assumes complete, usable client-supplied assets and one authorized decision-maker. The final agreement controls if the project requires more.
Investment
Custom Quote
Scope, minimum term, team capacity, communication rhythm, and artist contribution are individually defined.
Working Timeline
Initial qualification usually takes 1–2 weeks. The working term and milestones are defined in the agreement.
Revisions / Decisions
Plans evolve at scheduled review points; individual deliverables keep their own approved revision limits.
- Automatic Label Partner status
- Unlimited production or promotion
- Guaranteed funding
- Guaranteed booking or airplay
- Unapproved expenses
- Managed Release Campaign
- Radio/DSP campaigns
- Artist website
- Live capture and campaign content
Is this artist management?
Only if a written agreement specifically creates that role. Development does not silently become management.
Does development lead to Label Partner status?
It can create evidence of fit, but it does not guarantee or automatically convert to partnership.
Can we start with one service?
Yes. A defined project is often the cleanest way to test the working relationship.

Artist Ownership
Artists retain ownership of their masters, publishing, copyrights, and underlying rights. Standard service work does not transfer ownership to OTA Music Group.
Starting Prices
“Starting At” reflects the smallest standard scope using complete, usable client-supplied assets. Final scope and price are confirmed after intake.
No Fairy Tales
Airplay, streams, playlists, press, bookings, attendance, sales, follower growth, chart positions, and partnership acceptance are not guaranteed.
OTA Artist Direction & Development Brief
Development starts with fit, behavior, and a real working need—not a promise that somebody else will carry the career.
Related Paths
You May Need One Step Before Or After This
OTA will recommend the smallest useful sequence after intake. More services are not automatically a better plan.
Artist Direction Session
Start with a smaller diagnostic engagement.
Managed Release Campaign
Coordinate one release across approved lanes.
Label Partnerships
Understand OTA’s separate and more selective top relationship.
The Artist Still Has To Be In The Band
OTA can add systems, strategy, execution, and industry access. The artist must still show up, decide, approve, create, and work.
